Message: i am currently useing a 40 gal  electric hot water tank to power my in floor heat , 3 runs/zones  under 4" of concrete with 2" foam under slab . The square footage of the slab is 850 sq ft and the heater seems to run out of heat . im suspecting the tank cant recover . im sending it in tank set at 90Dgrees and shortly after it is running at 72 in and 52- 54 out and is having a problem getting past 50 degrees . i am asking for the ins and outs on a single panel or 2 to support this hot water tank and see its value

Hi Kelly, I would suggest you consider purchasing our SWH-1 complete solar kit 2nd heat loop for in floor loop it would come with a 80 gallon dual heat exchanger and 4..5 kw electric element. You could connect the 80 gallon tank in tandem with the existing 40 gallon if so desired to give you more storage capacity. Please refer to this website www.solartubs.com for move information on our heating systems. Website pricing for the complete SWH-1 kit with 2nd heat loop in floor with 80 gallon tank is $7000.00 Dollars. If you require any additional please contact me directly.
