solar heating a salt water poolby Admin

Message: Hi there, we have a salt water pool and I have been doing allot of research.  I really like your solar pool water heating system as they seem superior to anything else we have looked at.  My question is that the pool system comes with the Stainless Steel Solar Heat Exchanger but I read that this is not suitable for salt water.  You also have Titanium Heat Exchangers that say they are meant for salt water.   How much of an additional upgrade would it be to purchase this with the SPH-3 kit that your offer.

Riley you are certainly correct about the titanium solar pool heat exchanger. They are meant for solar heating pools that use high amounts of chlorine such as commercial or pool or pools that use salt water.  I would certainly recommend this upgrade.  The upgrade cost would be $350.  We have these in stock so it will not delay your solar pool heater order.    Dan

Great Dan, thanks for the quick reply I will be placing the order for the solar pool heater in March.  Again I love the product and there are lots of pool owners in my area so I am sure you will get some more orders!
