12x12 60,000 BTU water to air heat exchanger

I need to know if this particular heat exchanger can be adapted to be used in a solar heating system. Our systems are a dry air solar heating system where we heat the air and move the hot air through the exchanger to pre heat water for domestic uses? Our systems do not heat any liquid in the collectors, only air.

These are strictly water to air but could be used in reverse by blowing hot air across and circulating water on other side.  Not sure the efficiencies of using it in reverse.
