Message: I have a 20x40x10' indoor pool heated by a Buderus Boiler G215/3 boiler. Currently there are two appx 150kBTU heat exchangers installed. Looking to replace these with a better setup due to one of the heat exchangers having a leak on the inside tube bundle. I would like to inquire if the Solar Pool Heat Exchanger- Stainless Steel -SP-300K would be sufficient enough for my 38,000gallon pool. Live in Maine, indoor pool gets sun for 2 hours in the day through the windows. Water currently 45degrees...heat up time is not too much of an issue, just efficient to maintain at temp (86degreesF) once heated. Used Baquacil in past, switching to chlorine. I have bypass valves around heat exchangers when shocking pool/etc. Please reply back via email @ [email protected] Looking to purchase something ASAP.

Hi Alain, Two-- 155,000 btu heat exchangers is not large enough for a 38,000 gallon pool. SP300 SS heat exchanger is sized for a 26,000 gallon pool. I would suggest you require two of the SP 300 SS heat exchanger each will be $314.00 US funds includes 10% off. UPS freight estimate is $35.00 dollars each.
